They feel good. meade916 Posted June 19, 2006 Author Report Share Posted June 19, 2006 update: brackets worked PERFECT! Had to weld this nut on the side so i had a place to attach the seatbelt thing-a-majigg. Ill probably have to paint it or somethin along with the console too since its ugly and scratched up a little but none the less it works! this shows where the holes for the MOMOS were compared to where the stock brackets bolt to the car. Thats why i ran the angle iron in those spots. the seats are VERY straight, solid, and adjust NICELY. The steering wheel feels LOVELY. It litterally feels like a gamer chair and wheel for an Xbox or something...i love it! Also my boy Sean aka "pimp skills" got up in thurr and finished my alarm. This guy wouldnt stop, he hooked everything possible up and what he didnt hook up, he prewired for future cool stuff (power windows, door plungers if i shave the handles etc.) THANKS AGAIN Sean, i didnt have to lift a finger and now i gotta dope alarm!!!!!Stoked bro! Needs a few bugs worked out here and their but overall its GREAT! Sean wanted to take a pic of me right before i took it out so here it is.... straight four-by'ing here.....the pics were starting to get to dark to post so thats all i have. We also took a video of her first ride but again, too dark not worth posting. meade916 Posted June 19, 2006 Author Report Share Posted June 19, 2006 Didnt do a heck of alot this weekend but relax...did get some little stuff done and started to run a little wire (Rockford 2/0). My RF battery terminals and fuse holder will be here any day so i can get more serious about it when they get here. Here is the Bluetooth adaptor and Ipod cord for the Alpine. ipod adaptor works GREAT and was the easiest thing ive ever hooked up. Also, MP3 on DVD kicks major ass...first deck ive ever had that it actually worked. Oh ya, pay no attention to the janky wiring on the battery in the background.....its the "emergency wiring" i did when i first got the engine running again. Yup they stole every strand of 1/0 from this car but they can have that old road-beat, dirty wire. I have new 2/0 to replace it all Aint' they beautiful! I like them anyway.
