meade916
smashed her around on saturday nite, went up to one of the local "cruise spots" because i needed gas and figured id go the "long way".....this is a pic at the gas station, it is not "layed out" in this pic.....this is how i can COMFORTABLY drive it. Just a little bit of air is all it takes and i can ride slammed pretty hard. Took these with the camera phone at nite so the quality is kinda low Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! meade916
Well here is what i came up with so far.....now dont hate if i crumble this one up and toss it and try somethin else because im not sure i can pull this off. I havent had a wall since 91 and it wasnt nearly as big-timin' as this one will be (if it works). Anyway i spent 3 days wasting wood trying different configurtions and basicly im on plan C right now. First i added some more Stinger Roadkill Then the ol' trip to Home Depot for some supplies....have you guys ever seen my D/L Vehicle? Its not all flash at the meadehouse i like to lay low sometimes and creep....anyway thats my "workhorse" F150 Cutting this tube into 4 perfect "quarter pipes" was a pain in the ass....theres probably an easy way to do it but i of course made it more difficult than it had to be probably... meade916
Ok if your wondering what the tubes are for, this is an idea thats been in the making for a long time. I call it the "Squaro port"....basicly im doing a slot and flaring it like a Aeroport. Yes, thats 1/4" Particle board for my port. I needed it to be easy to work with and not dip into a sheet of MDF for these little pieces. Its getting glassed up anyway so its all good. Heres a pic of it "mocked up" so i can see how its gonna look. No the tape didnt stay. meade916
Thats a big square for only 100" of port....them flares are no joke they take up some room! It looks like its not lining up but it does, its just kinda sitting there with nothing holding the curved piece in place. Again its sorta just "mocked up" in that pic so now i can see how its coming together before i go glass crazy on it. meade916
I used 29oz Fiberglass mat for this so it should be VERY strong. I used some lighter stuff for areas that need to bend a little more like the corner of the flares. Now the front is strong, time to make it REAL strong and do a few layers on the backside as well.
