Owners1
I am trying to strap my two dual 1.0 ohm subs to 2 amps. I want each amp to see .5 ohms. Is there anyone that could possibly show me a diagram of how this should work? thanks Quote Hummer H2 ( Crossfire XS V2 15's (4) Crescendo Audio BC 5500s (16) Crescendo 6.5's, (16) Crescendo Tweeters, (4) Beyma 8" Midrange http://www.youtube.com/Owners1
iTech
I am trying to strap my two dual 1.0 ohm subs to 2 amps. I want each amp to see .5 ohms. Is there anyone that could possibly show me a diagram of how this should work? thanks I think you mean you want to strap the amps not subs. Just strap the amps and 1 ohm each in a final load of 2 ohms and wire the subs like this Quote My Official Feedback Thread PSN - tech2332 Games for PS3: Killzone 2, BattleField: Bad Company 2! Owners1
I am actually trying to get a final load of 1 ohm Quote Hummer H2 ( Crossfire XS V2 15's (4) Crescendo Audio BC 5500s (16) Crescendo 6.5's, (16) Crescendo Tweeters, (4) Beyma 8" Midrange http://www.youtube.com/Owners1
LordArcane
I am actually trying to get a final load of 1 ohm if both the subs are d1's then hooking both up to one amp you won't get final of 1 if you have 1 sub + 1amp then you can have final load at 1 ohm
Owners1
The thing is, I have 2 subs and 2 amps. They are (2) Dual 1 ohm subwoofers with 2 amplifiers. I need to strap the amplifiers for a total load of 1 ohm meaning each would see .5 ohms Quote Hummer H2 ( Crossfire XS V2 15's (4) Crescendo Audio BC 5500s (16) Crescendo 6.5's, (16) Crescendo Tweeters, (4) Beyma 8" Midrange http://www.youtube.com/Owners1
iTech
Hooking both subs together cannot get you to 1 ohm. Hooking each sub independently can get you a load of 1 ohm for each sub. Only possible way is to hook each amp independently with it's own sub. EDIT: Nevermind, you can do this. For some reason I thought they were Dual 2 Ohm. Do you have the electrical to wire each amp to .5 ohms each? What amps are they? Sorry for the misunderstanding. 18inchjeepin
no, he has 4 VC's total so each sub can be wired at .5 or 2 series the coils on each sub, then parrallel the subs, that would be 1 ohm, then strap the amps to that single + and - Its how I do it with my D1's Edited October 16, 2009 by 18inchjeepin Quote HHR (2) 15 DC Soundlab Lvl4XL SPL's (1) Soundstream XXX-15000D (9) XS Power D1000's XS Power - Soundstream SS N/W 155.1 db and climbing
Owners1
.5 ohms + .5 ohms = 1 ohm. I am trying to find a diagram that is a series parallel to do this. It is entirely possible with 2 amps strapped Quote Hummer H2 ( Crossfire XS V2 15's (4) Crescendo Audio BC 5500s (16) Crescendo 6.5's, (16) Crescendo Tweeters, (4) Beyma 8" Midrange http://www.youtube.com/Owners1
