agreed bandpasses are weak comparing to a well tuned ported

Lies! but most people don't have access to the knowledge or resources to do bandpass boxes. All they know of are the prefab plexi bandpass Pieces of shit rolling out of mass commercial stores like best buy or wholesellers online.

why 15? u can have 10 $20 15"s that are louder than 2 $500 15"s.

but i say for that cash, 18" dc audio lvl 5 or gtfo.

youre barking up the wrong tree pal, get one good 15" or 18" for that price. if your interested, pyle makes a 21" sub, can take 2000 watts, 4" alum coil, pretty badass for a pyle.

that would be louder than your current setup with the correct enclosure, and its only a $200 sub.

i think u need to go for a single sub. an 18". thats just me tho.

lol honestly look thru some the vids on here, there are alot of bandpass boxes builds and vids that are just SICK! if they are done right they are nice but like noob said most people inculeding me don't know how to build one right, thats why most people say go ported box cuz they are easy to make (for most) and get you pretty loud with little power and subs, add big power and big subs and ya done right you can out do most people in your hood with 2 12's in the right ported box on only their RMS
