BassJunkie
I just seen a car on autotrader thats close, good mileage and decent price. Its a Mercury Sable premium, this thing is tight, leather interior. I started strollin through the pics and see this WTF... this looks like it would be damn expensive to replace since its attached to the digital climate control =\ Quote 1986 C20 Suburban 9 American Bass XFL 15's B2 M1MKII 14v XS Power Batteries Maxwell Caps Acoustical energy is free. KickerAudio21
yup... I know that some ford taurus vehicles that have digital temp controls (the are called ford sho's or something) don't have a kit out. Or if there is a kit I havn't found it yet. If you really like that car, i'm sure there is a version without digital temp controls Quote ------------------------------------------------- 1st place circuit city car/spl show (maplewood,MN) 2006 146.6 dB's with 2 12" L7 and 1606d brutus
BassJunkie
Im not one to fall in love fast lol... I just think that this would be one thing to deter me from buying it, since it has no cd player, but I think it has the cd player disk changer (which I would hate) Quote 1986 C20 Suburban 9 American Bass XFL 15's B2 M1MKII 14v XS Power Batteries Maxwell Caps Acoustical energy is free. CstrokerV
you always could mount an aftermarket deck somewhere else run new speaker wires, power, ground etc..etc.. but probably would suck doing that Quote my build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/142505-small-build-log-4-dc-lvl3-10s-tl-update-link-to-rebuild/ http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/154258-rebuild-6-lvl3-12s-update-small-video-nothing-spectacular/ new build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/188181-03-trailblazer-slow-build-8-dc-lvl3-12-m1-motor-m2-parts/
AlpineGuy87
you always could mount an aftermarket deck somewhere else run new speaker wires, power, ground etc..etc.. but probably would suck doing that Or just mount cd/dvd below, fiberglassed maybe.. then just run NEW, or ADD componenets and wire them to the new HU, and still leaving the old stock ones there.. this way you still have both, or you could just hook up both to the speakers.. its whatever.. lol.. it'll be a tuffy, i'd say get an audio place to install your HU, that way they can figure all the stuff out and have the parts to put into the deck.. Along with a CD changer or get an FM modulator for an IPOD...
