this sub looks like a shitty ass old tower speaker for a house why does everyone say they are so good and are supposedly "banned from spl comps" why cuz cant even show up on the meter its so shitty whats up?

They are epic because no matter what forum you go to people know about the funky pup as being one of the worst subwoofers avaiable. So they become the butt of several jokes and are acclaimed for their spl qualities which they have none of. It's just an on going joke in the car audio community. I personally have never heard one, but in the right enclosure I'm sure that they can sound very good.
