Boon
Meh, I use skinny stuff 99% of the time. Easier to run it and hide it away in the car. I've pushed hideous amounts of power through 12ga speaker cable before without any real negative effects. Quote 10.x volts fo' life!

qu1cks1lver56
i normally like to use 12ga. for everything unless its huge amounts of power on the subs then 8ga. but 12 will cover most. ive used 16ga. before, its a whole lot easier to hide under interior panels and whatnot. but i wouldnt ever use anything smaller than 16ga.
