Because IMO, ANL fuses fit better than AGU fuses. they are tightened down by a screw whereas most AGUs are slid/crimped in. If your voltage is fairly stable, and im assuming so since you bought the new battery, then you should just go ahead and slap on a 150A and call it a day.

its a d2400 directed amp.. it doesnt blow instantly when i turn it up loud it blows.. do they make alot bigger than the 80s? thanks

now I'm using a sundown saz 1500,because my directed fried, with knu konceptz wiring and a anl fuse

even though i have more power I get WAYYYY less voltage drops

...my lights only dim a little now, and thats at full tilt

Pick yourself up an anl fuse 150 and you should be straight.

I popped my first 80 fuse within like 15 minutes, switched to the 150 and have been straight ever since.

I have two of those and they need at lease a 90 fuse per amp add the fuses on the side of your amp they are 3 30 amp fuse. You need to at lease use a 100 or 120. Try a ANL fuse. also check your Ground, cable make sure you use the same 4 gauge wire. I strongly recommend Loading it up to a 1ohm load. they love it.
