For some reason EVERY car I have ever had a system in starts zapping the hell out of me and it's frustrating to no end. Anyone else ever have this problem and or know how to fix it? It's been too many cars to count and every type of make you can imagine. American, Asian, European, Cars, trucks, I just don't get it. Anyone got any advise? Quote Starting From Scratch!! Kranny Posted November 20, 2009 Report Share Posted November 20, 2009 i have the same thing dude. electricity in your body + your car's body = zap. essentially grounding yourself out to the car lol same thing as putting a battery in your car when you have the ground hooked up, touch the + wire to the terminal and it zaps. Usually it was a pair hanging off the back bumper with lightning bolt designs on them. Completely ghetto and ridiculous looking but I guess they worked.
