Whats the difference?

motor strength as said...and yes it would make a difference...its a different woofer for a reason if it were the same there would be no reason to have the xl when you could have the 4 with 5 coil cheaper..

imo the 4 with a 5 coil is a cheap asses way of trying to get louder without buying something better

good call on that. with the right amount of power, those xls will get way louder.

speaking of power, what amps do you have in mind?

hopefully somethin a lil bigger than that aq 1200.

And hopefully something better than your V2.
