Well, sold the H2s and purchased a RE MT 18. Got my friend glenn to start on the enclosure (7cubes,110 square inches of port, tuned to 36 hz). Will be pushed by the Collosus II. tell me what ya'll think and what kind of numbers should I expect.

I recently purchased a 1999 Explorer Sport as my daily ground pounder and I'm in the process of installing (2) Orion H2 15.2 subs to be powered by a Hifonics XX Colossus II. Here are my pics. I was wanting to know if anyone has experience with these subs or this amp. Basically, any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I have no experience with either, but I can tell you right now that those H2's are damn near perfect subs in almost all aspects & the colossus is a strong amp. That setup is gonna ABSOLUTELY POUND.

Thanks Chris. Tonight is my first time posting although I tend to hit this forum up for advice and ideas at least 3x daily  I'm in the Air Force stationed in Germany but I'm from GA. They have DB Drags all the time in this area and I was wanting to build a little something of my own.

x2. that is not a good port design. its reallong and thin, and you want it more square shaped than rectangular. i guess try it out and see how it sounds. :)

Thanks for the advice. I'm not too experianced when it comes to ports so I'm Hoping it doesn't sound too bad. It's acyually alot of port area due to the length and depth of the box. This will have to do until I upgrade to the 2007 HCCA subs. We had a car show recently (Car + Sound 07) in Sinsheim Germany and those new Orions are monsters. I was going to order them but found out that my Earthquake PHD3 needed to be repaired so I decided to throw the H2's in and purchase a new amp instead. I really appreciate the advice and I'm hoping this set-up sounds decent.
