how do you know if you are able to solder them. Can you solder all ring terminals. I bought some gold 1/0 gauge ring terminals from partexpress that were described as solderless.

well they describe them as solderless because, you are suppose to crimp those same thing with meade's. you can still solder them..

Well i thought id share my experience, thanks meade for the thread and tutorial, and megalo for that response about the solderless ring terminals. This was a life saver for me because i did 2 wires of the big 3 so far and the wires kept coming out, no matter how much i crimped them in the vice. So thanks.

Here are 2 pics: one of what i used and another of wire that i soldered.I did it a little different on some of the ring terminals. Because some ring terminals stayed strong and wre crimped good enough so that there was not a problem, however the other end of the wire had the problem where the wire would come loose (even though it was crimped). So i added solder to the already crimped wire. It is still a great connection (i did measure the resistance with a meter).

Pic of the solder, vice, and my moms torch (although it is not propane). Apparently this torch came in a package for cooking the dessert called "creme brule" i think. I duno but you burn the top of the dessert so.
