ok...got a 92 accord...i have a nsb90 battery up front thats probably 5 years old, 200amp iraggi alt, big three (no system installed at the moment...lol)

anyways...im driving yesterday on the highway doing like 70....my clock and all my gauges go off, radio still stayed on and my car still stayed on...everything was off for like a split second and came right back on....

few hours later im at a drive thru...stopped, car dies. start it right back up....no problem

finally get home.....car dies..wont start back up. then i try the remote start and it fires right up....i disengage the remote start and its still running like normal. turn it off and start it back up normally..no problem...

get up this morning, remote start it from inside the house to warm it up. get in a few minutes later....go to disengage the remote start...it dies.

will not start normally for anything now, but will start fine with the remote start yet dies when remote start is disengaged....

dont think its any fuses since it starts and runs normally with the remote start...but i checked all fuses, and they are good

battery is resting at 12.3 with car off (and its like 10 degrees outside)

all the connections are good

so...wtf?

i need to take it somewhere today...but any ideas on whats going on

CLIFF NOTES:

car starts fine with remote start

car dies with remote start is disengaged

car will not start normally without remote starting it

all fuses are fine

battery is fine

power/ground connections are fine

i likes me some audio stuff...

If you have private shops in your area (a good reputable mechanic) I would go to him; due to the fact midas and auto shops tend to charge shit loads for little repairs like that. Honestly as im sure your aware this might not be the only issue I had an o2 sensor go out as well with the relay my mechanic did that really cheap. Hope this helps.

idk what to do...

just went back out there...starting jigglin wires for the remote start...and it started up fine...couldnt get it again though...

and now my led indicator is not blinking...just stays on...

so im almost positive this a remote start/alarm issue and not an engine issue...

Have you tried disconnecting your alarm all together? Try disconnecting the power to the brain, or disconnecting the remote start module. This will help to rule out or confirm that it is indeed your alarm causing the issue. Also search your area for import specialist shops.
