RE SE handling

Do you guys think I can run a 10'' SE on 750rms safley?? Its rated at 600 so idk.

750 is the most id run to it daily. you may never see that much power to it...what amp? you could just be conservative on the gain.

if you smell anything or notice the sub acting funky just back off on the knob. Be sure to set the gains correctly in the first place :)

i ran 2 off a audiopipe 3k at 2 ohms per channel, they got a lil warm but was doing around 900 per channel to them, my box was alittle on the bigger side for them as well, so prob why got got warm

for the first month I ran 1,200 watts to each one of my SE's daily. Then I toned it down to 850 watts and have had it like that for the last year daily. They take it like champs,, I've had no issues. I gotta to say there some good speakers.

This is good to know. I just picked up some RE SE 10s dual 2 ohm speakers because my Cerwin Vega V-Maxes couldn't handle my RF T1000-1BDCP amp at 2 ohms. It puts out around 1300 watts @ 2 ohms and 1400 watts @ 1 ohm. At 2 ohms I smelled the voice coils on my V-Maxes but time will tell if my SEs can stand up. But after reading this thread I have no more doubts.

there is a local guy here driving around wit 4.5krms on 4 re audio se and they handle it like a champ
