It does an HONEST 270 amps with an actual 165 amps at idle. We also have a dual kit on sale that adds another unit next to the stock unit on sale for only $369, comes complete with belt and everything. At the 270 amp level, and our solid copper rectifier, they are pretty much bomb-proof. If you try and lean on them harder than that, they will have massive overheating issues, and have crappy output at idle. They are the standard AD244 housing, just like what Steve has on his Tahoe.
