Last year chevy put the 350 in the 1500??

What year did they start using those crappy 4.8l? Also I know is the midsize blazer should have same with 5.3l and not this crappy 4.3l....

With all the new electronics we use, you can make a small motor have a ton of power and all in all it will weigh less too.

Hell yea I thought it wouldn't have what the 350 did, but I wouldnt be surprised if my 5.3 would out run my old truck with the 5.7

Im not on what year they started using them but they just have a little less hp then the 5.3 but i still wouldnt have one.. But My 350 did out run one of those 4.8's :clapping:

I think the 4.8 was started in 2000 or 01' right around the same time as the 5.3.

That could get interested with her potential positions, this being one of the better.. As soon as we started getting into it though, I'd have to toss her a serious taint/balls teabag from hell though with her head right there.-Marlo Stanfield

I just checked out those 4.8's and on the chevy website it says 302hp on the 4.8 and on the 5.3 315.. Really not much difference.. Surprises me

Yeah but the 4.8 and 5.3 are both v-8's. 4.8 is 283cid, and 5.3 is 327cid.
