i voted DC because of rob's customer service he hooked me up damn well and everybody else that loves this spl thing and he always likes seeing his customers happy with their alt and i have been happy with mine so yeah customer service

Iraggi because Dom answered the phone and answered questions, SM uses them, and Brian at Soundsational in Indy says they have great customer service.

In my case it was a $60 difference quoted and then i also recieved a discount for entering in one of the old raffles. so overall it was about a $110-$120 difference.

I'm not going to talk prices but I'm going to put out there what dom did for me

took back my old alts. checked one to make sure it was good rebuilt another.

Realized they wouldnt fit.

swapped out for the duals that would work out. and powdercoated them

dual alt kit. full kit pulleys belts everything.

and did it for far less than the other guys. Is that because I had iraggi alts before and he was thanking me for loyalty? I dunno but im very grateful that he did. I do know that when it comes time for triples or quads that I know where I'm going....

Well if you have never bought one and need to choose between company A and company B, you have use some sort of criteria to make your selection. That would usually involve seeking the advice of someone you trust that has used the product.

Before you buy your first alternator you have no personal experience yet you choose a company based off something. That is part of the question Im asking.

I was referred to Ohio by another Trailblazer owner who had a good experience with them.

I've only used Ohio, so the pros were:

-very professional on the phone

-took the time to answer my questions, believe me I had a lot

I don't have any cons. Everything about my experience with them was good.
