And are you running four gauge to the 1000/1? he's using 0 gauge for the jl amp then 4 gauge for the mid's and highs And his problem is he needs a new alternator like atleast a 200 amp then he will be good Introduce a no fat chicks in the whip rule. SVT4LIFE Posted February 9, 2010 Author Report Share Posted February 9, 2010 hes using 4 gauge for the power on the mids amp from the batt in the back.. no zero from the batt up front to a splitter to 2 four gauge and the hc800 is only hooked up to the jl 1000/1 and brand new batt up front yellow top D35 deep cycle just got it like an hour ago the door speaker amp the arc audio isnt running a 2nd battery its only running off the one under the hood Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

dugee81 Posted February 9, 2010 Report Share Posted February 9, 2010 the amount of reserve doesnt matter if you cant properly charge it! youre getting low voltage because youre asking too much of your alt. small sedans dont create a great amount of power! if you had a sufficient power supply (alt), you wouldnt see voltage drop. 200a alt. by Excessive Amperage hc800 under hood & 2 Deka 9a31 in rear 1/0awg + big 3 SAZ 3000D HDC3 18" @ 2 ohm Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
