Factory HU with LOC

mids/highs-Insignia components

Sub- E8 in bass tube

Amp- sae-1200d

Show Setup:

HU-Sony MEX-1HD (brings massive respect for sony)

fronts - Infinity Kappa perfect comps

rears- Infinity Kappa coax

mid/high amp - Autotek 5600

Subs - 2 RE SE 15's

Sub Amps - 2xSAE-1200D

Box - 5cubes sealed

Wire- Lots of Knu 1/0

you could do .5, assuimng your impedance rise is enough.

Thats what id do. getting .5 ohm rise to make the amp stable shouldnt be hard at all.

Current System:

Pioneer 6900 HU

Front Stage: (for now)

Soundstream tarantula 5.25 in the doors

Soundstream tarantula 4x6 in the dash

Kenwood 400.4 for mids & highs

Bass:

4 Soundstream RW-12's

2 Power Acoustik Stax 4000/1D's

single chamber box, 2.65 cubes.

Currently under the knife being bagged

I guess I should go ahead and admit that I'm a scrub when it comes to detailed installs. I mean I've thrown an amp and speakers into cars. But nothing real? I guess that makes sense. All in all. I'm not sure how to get the .5 ohm rise to make the amp stable? Any way you could explain a bit?

your impedence will rise as you play, everytime the sub moves it changes a little bit and somebody correct me if im wrong a smaller box will have more rise. also slow roll your volume untill its playing dont just crank it right away. i would just get a second amp and wire both to 1 ohm though
