BassAddict59
Check out this wiring diagram, I believe all the info is on the picture itself. Please help me out if there are errors, I'm just trying to figure this out. 8v fury
Do the amps have rca pass thrus? Are you spliting the rca at the headunit or near the amps. You only need two rca y adaptors instead of the four you have in the digram since you only have two amps. Edited March 8, 2010 by 8v fury Quote Pushing it to the limits. Want more power. hotshot27
looks ok. On the main power wire i would run two different fuses, one close to the back batt and one close to the front. you can use the second batt as a distro, but i would rec a small fused ditro block. you can find them online on the forums for about $15. The deck may end up causing issues, in theory you can use the splitters, i'm just worried the voltage is already so low, that after the splitters your amps will be recieving very little voltage from the radio. I have 3 y-adaptors because that way it will make 4 jack for rcas for each amp. like this kinda... Y Y Y looks ok. Do i run the ditrso block right after the second bat? And is there any other way to fix my rca problem? hotshot27
yeah, run the distro right after the second batt. not required, but the fused ones add a little piece of mind to your setup. The only way i know to fix the RCA issue is 1)attach a pair of LOC's to your speaker leads 2)buy a line driver or the best option 3)eventually get a different deck. but i'm sure you already knew that EDIT: http://www.caraudioclassifieds.org/forum/showthread.php?t=32872 use this and then daisy chain the amps like crump have said. so the sequence being 1rca out>splitter>line driver(or not)>inputs of first amp>out of first amp to inputs second amp Edited March 8, 2010 by hotshot27 Quote Current Setup: Factory HU with LOC mids/highs-Insignia components Sub- E8 in bass tube Amp- sae-1200d Show Setup: HU-Sony MEX-1HD (brings massive respect for sony) fronts - Infinity Kappa perfect comps rears- Infinity Kappa coax mid/high amp - Autotek 5600 Subs - 2 RE SE 15's Sub Amps - 2xSAE-1200D Box - 5cubes sealed Wire- Lots of Knu 1/0 SECOND SKIN
Crump
Why cant you just run one y splitter to one amp, then run a set of rcas from that amp to the other? and you can ground the amps at the battery if you want, but the chassis works fine also. Then you gotta fuse the amps within 18" of the battery or closer. Also with your remote turn on wire you can just run one to one amp, then daisy chain it to the other like the RCAs. Pm me if you have any other ?'s Quote Team gg Team doa Installs I have doneMy 2010 Rebuild 144 db so far....2 DC xl 10s Firing into cabin on a RF 25002 12" AQ HD's powered by a Saz 2k + Lots o Mids+Highs

hotshot27
Problem is, there is only input on the amps no output then i would go back ot your original drawing, but insert the line driver after the first y-splitter Quote Current Setup: Factory HU with LOC mids/highs-Insignia components Sub- E8 in bass tube Amp- sae-1200d Show Setup: HU-Sony MEX-1HD (brings massive respect for sony) fronts - Infinity Kappa perfect comps rears- Infinity Kappa coax mid/high amp - Autotek 5600 Subs - 2 RE SE 15's Sub Amps - 2xSAE-1200D Box - 5cubes sealed Wire- Lots of Knu 1/0 SECOND SKIN

BassAddict59
If i couldn't get a line driver right away then how much power would i be loosing from my 3 y-splitters, rcas, then to the amp? would it be significant?
