New security system in the works

Yeah I'm gonna pass on them. Seems that they haven't done any real testing of their product. 3M makes a good line of film and I've been put in contact with a local dealer for the pricing when he gets back to me.

not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it. :)

theres no such thing as too expensive when it comes to upgrades like that, because imo if you are gonna spend to upgrade then do it correctly rather then be a cheap ass ricer

You can but it's real tricky from what I've been told. Also it takes up to 3 weeks for the film to completly set before you can tint or secure it to the bottom track of the window.

I might just go and get the 20% film when I do. Damn holidays cuts into the budget a bit so it might be awhile.

I ordered a new deck that will be here next week but nothings going in until I get some more protection.

Yep after it "cures" to the glass Then you would have to add Dow Corning 995 to the bottom to attach the film to the track.

Yeah it does, but I guess it's worth it if you really really wanna protect what you have in your ride. May just be cheaper and easier to get lexan windows ans install those, LoL.

(Not sure how much lexan is, but it is scratch resistant. So if the thief gets pissed that they can't bust your windows out, at least they can't scratch it.)

im wondering how scratch resistant lexan is thou bc its just a type of acrylic and from what ive seen acrylic and plexiglass(type of acrylic too) both scratch bad.

Lexan and all those types of acrylic can be very costly to have a peice made to form to the curve of the glass. I found a company down in Socal that will do it but about passout on the price.
