I have Dish. I've only had it for about 6 months now. I got the '$15 per month off for the first year' deal. I've never had any hidden fees, but have had to pay fees for this and that (I knew the fees were coming).

I got Dish over DirecTV mainly because it was the cheaper option for what I wanted. I have the dual TV DVR (same receiver runs my living room TV and my bedroom TV). HD package and DVR FTW.

The only bad thing is that my area doesn't get locals in HD. I can get them with an antenna, though.

Well I used to have a company called Bee Line. Needless to say they suck ass. I kept getting static over the lines. (had them out to the house 6 times over a 3 month period) THEN they have the nerve to come shut off my cable because I was late on a $55 payment. I called them up to tell them that my taxes would be in in two days they still shut it off. No notice, no phone call NOTHING, just a tech knocking on my door demanding money or he was going to shut it off. I called up the main office, (They sub contract through Time Warner) The main office was a bitch to me so I told them to shove their shitty service up their ass. Sooo for now all my TV entertainment comes in the form of either hulu or fancast streamed through my DVD players HDMI cable from my laptop.
