i usually click on old updated threads when i see the OP comment in them...just out of curiosity. but i never expect freakin sweet updates! i got all giddy when i saw this update with real updates :) not slacking on those doors either. i'm jotting notes down on those as well.

question...when you glass the spots you want, you have that extra fray sticking out of the sides. the resin and matting get kinda thick there after time. how do you cut them off? i use a rotary tool to get the stuff off mine out. just curious to if there's a better or more efficient way.

on those edges wheat i do is...i lay it all up and let it start curing...but i have to babysit it...keep an eye on it throughout the green stage...when its semi stiff,,,tacky...about 3/4 cured...i simply follow the edges with a brand new utility knife and cut em off clean....no dust

if those were for my truck...i'd totally be ok with riding around with them sanded, unfilled, and unpainted. they're already at badass status

thanks man

ahhhh...very nice. by the time i get back around to them the edges are done cured. one layer is thin enough to do with a knife but still kinda hard when it's dried. thanks :)

EDIT: very nice touch to have the door handle incorporated with the curves of the door. very stealthy and still with a purpose
