Haven't tested it, but just by ear i have to agree with others on the opinion of Alpine HU's.

Good sound up to 23-24 even with the KTP-445 inline add on amp (gain switch on low setting)

Nobody posted the prs 80 yet?.

he wouldnt be the first to say they did a 167 with a system like that (one that clearly DOESNT), but i have to say, he didnt beat me anywhere, ive never competed against the guy. If he thinks his does a 167, mine would probably put him in a coma. :hairtrick:

Did some testing with a DD-1 when trying to decide what settings worked/sounded best for me, (all done with EQ on HU flat) my Kenwood KDC-BT955HD clips on the SW output at 35/35 sub level +1, 32/35 sub level +7, and finally 28/35 sub level +15. Ended up using the 32/35 with sub level +7, was the best mix of SQ and output, +15 on the sub level sounded terrible (and yes I did adjust the gain on the amp each time). Will have to retest once my SD-2 12's get here as it might just be the shit temp subs I'm running while waiting on them to get here.

My Alpine CDE-SXM145BT tripped the distortion light on the DD-1 at 31 out of 35.

When i tried it the first time it tripped at 19 i couldn't figure out WTF? why is this happening?

Everything else was zero'd out and the alpine media expander (MX) setting was on at the 1 setting.

Needless to say it is staying off.
