Around 4000rms or so. Cut her open and the voice coil was completely crushed from bottoming out so hard. Forevrbumpn Posted July 16, 2007 Report Share Posted July 16, 2007 it doesnt matter what car it is, and what subs it is (well does, but the MA would be fine- Iam thinking of messing with the higher model 18s) Its all box design, proper tuning, proper wiring, proper equalization- But the amps and box desing I would say matter the most. I have gotten HORRIBLE 8" mid bass speakers, throw them in tlines/horns, and use a descent CLEAN strong amp, and in my house alone, I can get the furthest point in my house shaking hard with only 100watts proper Box design + good clean, strong amp = good loud bass I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
