World's Loudest Ground Pounders, (non walled)

Recommended Posts

I think we should only post DB DRAG, sealed at the dash scores. Not USACI scores to keep consistency.

If you dont have a DB DRAG score, you need to get one and come back. Otherwise I want to post my USACI score, which is higher.

Official Scores at the Dash. and YES. My Bass Boxing is louder than Burp! - 155.5 DB Drag Burp- 155.6 - IASCA Bass Boxing on music (30 seconds straight) sealed up Builds 1. The Acura Integra build = http://www.stevemead...s/page__st__6802. BLK SIN Build = http://www.stevemead...w-pics-10-6-07/

Having a wall has slowly degraded my concern for resale value. I now have no problem drilling holes, removing parts or steel that I don't like, or hammering things down.

Next car will be a no waller! Planning on making a wall thread as well?

We can start a wall thread too.

Real point of this thread is because not many people really knows who is the actual loudest with no wall.

And it pertains to the vehicle I am building now and the rebuild of my HHR to take place after that.

yeah, I was thinking that. We can post all interesting scores but I will edit the list for dB Drag style.

Besides, I was doing 157s USACI style.

With all the ground pounder threads over the years posted here, I thought all that mattered was 150+ walled or non walled, musical, no burps, daily driven, not a comp only car?

I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.

whats the score with the car sealed up and mic on the windshield?

That looked like door open, kick score USAC style

155.0@50hz sealed on the dash. car lost about 1.5 going from usaci style to dbdrag style. we'd do dbdrag if they came around here, so we are left with usaci.

No comp only cars, has to be driven, musical cars is what we are talking about.

And rating them by dB Drag legal scores is a fair way to rate them. dash this, kick panel that, door open, door closed, too many variables and not exactly fair when you just meter it any old way you wish. Gotta have a standard.

And most cars would do the same on music as they can burp nowadays with tones being placed in music.
