World's Loudest Ground Pounders, (non walled)

Recommended Posts

Alright guys, I know Ground Pounders arent meant to meter high. But its fun to see what they can do.

Mainly non walled Ground Pounders. Lets define this first.

Ground Pounder is a regularly driven vehicle with a huge system that can do hairtricks and rattle anything in its path with bass.

Over 150 dB, plays music all day. No Burp Only machines. If you can demo music with doors open for a long period of time, you may be a ground pounder.

Non-walled refers to the type of setup, the enclosure cannot seal to the ceiling, rules vary on this but lets say woofers firing up is ALMOST automatically non-walled. And for it to be ground pounder, the enclosure should be in the cargo area of the vehicle.

So lets compile a list of the World's Loudest non-Walled Ground Pounders. I wanna use legal dash scores dB Drag style but feel free to post other scores too. The list will be organized by dB Drag style scores. (Term Lab-Sensor placed on windshield, 12" over from passenger A pillar and 6" up from dash)

Some have missed the point of this measurement technique. The Scientific Method says that we need a standard measurement technique to be used on all vehicles, the dB Drag style is an Industry recognized standard that has been used for over 20 years. All can do it and the TL sensor is designed for it. So we will go by that to make it even.

For proof, please post dB Drag stats page, or video of testing procedure.

Also, for proof of Ground Pounder status, please post pics or vids of the box and vehicle.

post pics and stats

Just an idea.. why not put their user names in parenthesis, like this > ( SMD name) so that way, people can check them out on the site. I know a lot of us know most of the people, but once the list gets goin, it might be hard to keep track. Just an idea..

Im still working on making that list. I gotta break a 150 before I start asking to be added.

I sense it happening soon.

shall we keep the list at 150+?

Once we get all the other names in here we may have 20 people over 150 anyway.
