I want to do a hair trick

Recommended Posts

Hey fellaz, I'm not new to the sub game, but I been out of commission for awhile since like 2004. I used to compete in MECA here in Illinois and Wisconsin. I have one request and I want to do a hair trick, bottle trick or t-shirt trick. I basically want my car to slam and move massive air. I have a 2006 Dodge Charger which means the box will be in the trunk of the car. So please recommend some DC subs. I was looking to purchase lvl 5 10's, 4xl 12's or 4xl 15's.

If you know of a youtube video where someone is doing a hairtrick or moving air like a jet pilot from a trunk please post. LOL

Thorshammer can move some serious amounts of air from the trunk, he also hits 150+

Just cuz thor did it doesnt mean everyone can he is running 14k to his sub that is a lot of electrical upgrades. Im running 7k to mine and I cant pull a very good hair trick yet. I recommend bigger subs if your trying to move some serious air.

Easiest way to do a hairtrick is a wall with 4 15's, just do like 4 LVL4's on like 4-5K, its not gonna be easy at all to do a hairtrick out of the trunk, very few people are able to do that.

Yeah a wall would be nice but I need my back seat. 2 18's in the trunk? I don't know if that would even fit. I saw meade had 2 18's in his honda in the trunk but they were at a slant. Hmmm Maybe I should just got with a street beat setup for the CHARGER...

you wont fit 2 18s in a trunk, especially in that car. 2 15's will be pushing it for air space. And gaining enough pressure to do hair tricks out of a trunk is going to be a tough task.

4 15" dc audio level 4 xl's in 4th order blow through

2 IA 40.1's at 2 ohms strapped with 3.9 rise...currently own 4 IA 40.1s.....

1 06zx3504 running Kicker QS 6 1/2's

1 iraggi 180 amp alt

1 optima d34 yellow top under hood

5 deka intimidators

Termlabed 157db at 38hz 6000 watts

you will have to find a way to get 15"s and seal off the trunk. cant let any of that air escape a flapping trunk lid. but i dont believe you could ever fit a pair of 15"s and a port on the face of a box in the trunk. maybe subs forward sealed off with a big ass port through the rear deck. i think that would be your best chance.

look at any car doing stupid crazy hairtricks. they arnt daily drivers with back seats. they have been made into bass machines. very loud is very possible in the trunk but the kind of hairtrick you want... i think itll take more than you want to do to that car.

If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood.
