I forgot to order some spade terminals with my wire and the wire itself wont fit into the power input on my amp. I have some aluminum sheets laying around that i would think would be the perfect thickness to make my own spade terminal. Would it be a good idea to go ahead and make them out of the aluminum? Im only making two, one for the power and one for the ground connections on the amp.

I see no reason it won't work, as long as you're confident in your fabrication abilities :)

Well while in the garage i found myself some copper tubing that would be perfect for this since it already has the round shape I need. I already got two of them made within minutes. Just polishing them up and getting them ready to make a good solid connection.
