how many are there?

edit you will need four of them if you were to try its like haveing two subs that are dual 4 if you connect two Voice coils you get 2 ohm then once you connect the other two you get a 2 ohm load then connect the two subs for a 1 ohm load

yes i have 4,

and i have a question about my box. its tuned to 46hz (not on prupose lol, just made a box that looks good)

anyways, would i make my port longer to get it tuned lower? or would i shorten it?

If your amp can handle a 1 ohm load and your cars electrical is strong enough them you shouldn't have any problem wiring them to 1 ohm

ugh youd have to use a box tunner which you can find on the site here just look it up and if im correct you have to make it shorter

the calc i use says i need to make it longer

i go to the12volt.com

"Calculators, Charts, Diagrams"

scroll down, click "Volume Calculator - Rectangular/Square Enclosures"

scroll up, its right above the box volume calc for the spuare enclosures

my port is 1.5"wide x 17.5"tall x 9"long

and i have 1.8 cubes

Longer port is lower tuning.

Remember the longer you make your port the smaller your box will get

Is the 1.8 cu ft (gross internal volume, I guess) box for four subs? Hope that is enoough, man.

Don't forget speaker displacement (port was mentioned earlier) when solving your net cu ft.
