Ok 48-10's equal 3768 sq inches

32-12's equal 3617 sq inches

20-15's equal 3532 sq inches

14-18's equal 3560 sq inches

OR 8-24" Jackhammers equals 3617

I wondered the same thing as to what was close and wasnt a odd amount of subs to run to multiply amps.

you have to take excursion into account too tho... :P only messin that its nuts haha

Batteries are charging and we will do some metering once they are full.

We don't expect optimum results as there are 18 sets of Y-Splitters involved -- bet the head unit is hating life

Once Hank gets home he is going to use a Maxx-Link at least for a while until he figures out whats wrong with his line driver unit.

Burp - was a bit louder with 156.7 dB

-----

Clamping power:

910 watts per amp x 12 = 10,920 watts for 156+ dB @ 30 Hz. We calculated impedance rise to be 3.5 ohms -- also currently we are using 18 Y-Splitters to get the signal to the amps so RCA voltage is really low (line driver not working right now). Hank plans to do more testing with a line driver soon when it gets fixed.

I should have posted earlier what I thought the number would be lol, 156 at 30 hz I was dead on.

That should go up quite a bit once the line driver is up and running.

i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?

he could also probably use just a normal 2ch line driver for a bit
