This was just a fun project and since I needed a trunk to make it "custom" to, I had to borrow my homie's ride. Technically I just made a template of the space between the wheel wells and built it w/ in that template so I didn't even have the car haha.

I assume that^^^ means you have never tried it?

Materials aren't much $$. Just give it a shot, use a sub you have or buy a cheap one and just experiment w/ it.

Best way to get a hang of glassing is by building something and gettin familiar w/ the materials.

That's how I got started-just kept seein all the "cool" possibilities and did my HW online and where ever I could find info.

Forums are good cuz some one's always got a project goin on. Lots of ideas flowin.

Yea He is deff stoked on the setup and I'm liking how it turned out too.

I was actually surprised how well his amp is doing considering I cant find ANY info on it but he bought it from a shop near his hood along w/ the 10'' sub. It has not shut down at all even in the 110 deg cali heat we've been having so it seems pretty solid @ 2ohm mono-says it'll do 500rms and from the output i'd say thats about right.

I got him an after market knob too, and we still gotta seal off the back of the trunk but it's bumpin nicely so far and I only see it getting better w/ the upgrades. He's also eventually gonna do his big 3, or part of it when he has time but we checked the voltage w/ lights on and full volume-it never went under 12v -even on his stock electrical.

Here's the PAC Universal Knob I got him. This works PERFECTLY. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to add a knob to an amp that doesn't come with one.

Where did you get it at and how much did it cost I have been wanting to get one. Do they hook into the rca's at the headunit and then the rca's from the amp hook into it?

It has an RCA IN-and an RCA OUT-in from deck and out to amp.

The ONLY downside is if you are running an LOC (like in this civic) you must set ur amp at MAX since the DECKs volume will dictate MAX signal reaching the amp and only at MAX volume on the deck will you have full amp power based on where you set ur gain.

Minimal inconvenience but if you need that much control just pony-up and get a deck w/ rca's and then it's bizz as usual and it'll still work perfectly.
