What are some reasons for this? so i can fix them. 7jezuz7 Posted July 7, 2010 Report Share Posted July 7, 2010 what ohm load? i've read that these alpines get hot, i wouldn't know exactly though. maybe bad grounds or too small of wire either going to the amp or to the subs. It's a 4 ohm load. It used to get hot and eventually started to shut off. Had a couple friends with these.
