Jesus. That thing is way more sophisticated than the "bench tests" I've seen other companies do.

wtf is lolcats?

I'd def get a fat hooker if i had to resort to that kinda thing. I feel like they'd be grateful and work harder. Also its more bang for my buck, more real estate for my dollar if you catch my drift. its like the Costco of streetwalkers.

I was hoping for 150 :(.

I was hoping she would let me put it in her butt

That is pretty nice!

I got a quote and ther offer a 270 amp alt that does 170 at idle...

FOR $499 but a voltage reg for another $99!

Shit is a lot better then what a lot of other alt company offered me.

lol the same "bench test" some members on here are capable of doing?? It's good to see someone step up BIG TIME and it couldn't have happened at a better time.

There's no alternator for the 07 Dodge Cummins Diesel 5.9L....

Any Plans for one?

Actually, we just developed one. My shipping manager drives an 07 Ram 2500 CTD. It does 270 amps by 1600 rpm, 165 amps at idle, and the direct bolt in kit is $499.

Yes, it was quite expensive, and it actually took over 14 months to be built. We originally bought it for developing a Nascar alternator program, but it has also proven very useful for "tweaking" our high output offerings. Being able to measure efficiency is very useful in selecting one stator design over another, even if they both have the same output curve.

The heat cycling capabilities are VERY useful in determining lifespan of components. The many thousands of hot/cold cycles is what generally causes and alternator to stop working. By comparing how many cycles certain components last, we have actually been able to improve on some rectifier designs, and also choose which component suppliers have the most durable offerings.
