what are best materials for box without breaking the bank

haha cheers guys that helps heaps :)

had never heard of liquid glue until now or the surface thing on MDF (learnt something new today).

will probably use MDF, silicone, screws and that stuff and just make sure i do it perfect first time.

I used Arauco ply for my box, but I'm not sure if that would be available where you are. It's a lot lighter than MDF and I was told it would be fine for boxes. Just throwing that out there.
