CJ18
5.5 per sub after displacements. with 12-16 sqin of port per cube. i would just do the port as big as you can fit based on those numbers
cnate777
300 i think is gonna be too big that would be a 10 x 30 x 18 for 35hz that is too deep for the box......what would 120sq or port tuned to 28-32 do???? memphisBred
Sound like shit. Surely not 20+ cubes for 4 18's and only 120 sq in of port. Way to small. Quote SMD Super Seller/Buyer Audison----Hertz----Rainbow

memphisBred
Sorry just noticed you will be running double the RMS of the level 5. I thought it said 1 2500 per sub. He had/has double the RMS, as you will, going to the subs. So if you go with a smaller box or a to spec box with small port area(according to the rule of thumb of 12-16 sq in) and tuned low, you will probably get good results and a gain in power handling. Sorry for coming off as a dick I thought you were going to be running near the RMS of the level 5. cthedinger
20 cubes after all displacement with that much power, and at least 446.67 sq inches of port if you want to tune to 28 hertz. If you don't have enough room for that much port then go with less woofers. The port is not determined by volume it is determined by the xmax of the woofer you are using, there for the basic rule of thumb 12-16 sq inches of port is incorrect. Use this calculator to determine the port area need. http://www.carstereo.com/help/Articles.cfm?id=31 Quote If you have any questions PM me or Add me on Facebook CLICK ME!
