Had some technical problems with the recone, come to find out they forgot to send me a spacer ring that is supposed to be epoxied to the basket and then the spider epoxied to that, luckily the epoxy hadn't fully cured and I was able to get the recone back off without damaging it, I am glad I called them cuz when I looked at that sub all sucked down and then I tried to push on the cone and it bottomed out against the magnet, I knew something was up. So now these rings should be here Friday, get the sub all back together and then late Friday night put sub back in wall. Then go to show on Saturday for competition, why does all this shit always have to happen with so little time???? LOL

And I like my rims too, they flow with the truck very well.

I hope the spacer ring for the recone gets here in time too. No gasket for the daily port the speaker carpet seals it really well, I use about a dozen bolts with washers and T-nuts to secure the port and that draws it in really tight.

Good luck on your journey to 160... Not an easy one for sure...

In one of the pics, you had a guy grinding off screws or something... USE A FACESHIELD OR SAFETY GLASSES!!! Unless you dont mind getting the metal drilled out of your eye, and a tetnus shot...

The box is too big for that low on these subs, if I had different subs then it could be doable, BUT and the main reason I didn't tune that low, I don't want to be replacing windshields all the damn time!!!!

Did you do the 60 on the dash legal?

Outlaw style like USACI does it did the 160.3, did a 157.3 legal currently.
