Alt for 02 sebring

Recommended Posts

hey ive really been wondering whether or not i should get a alt.. i dunno ive just heard alot of horror storys with alts.. but if the price is right and its jsut a plug and plug direct bolt on.. i might be interested.. whats the biggest alt you have that does the most at idle? its a 2002 chrysler sebring. lx. have the 4cyl engine with a stock shitty 60 amp alt.. please let me know thanks :)

Steve I don't know why but everytime I see your new paint I want a Dr. Pepper...... is this normal?

heres an analogy for you. running a high power stereo without a fuse is like having unprotected sex with that hot chick at the bar with the sketchy sexual history. Sure you may be fine and nothing happens but that one time something does happen you're fucked.

i dont want woofer broke like bass sound clip clip and voice coil overheat

and if it helps i have a sundown saz1500 running at 1 ohm for 2 sa12s. no 4 channel, big 3 and back xs 3400. all 0 gauge and stock front battery. plan to add a 4 channel later on. i looked at your site and only saw alts for up to 99.. i want just a direct bolt on alt.. dont want to have to get smaller belt etc just plug and play lol i still have to get my build finished etc but ill keep the alt in mind if its not expensive

It depends if it is a DOHC or SOHC 4 cylinder. Prices will range $375 - $599 , amperage will range 150 amp - 320 amp

uh preety sure its dohc ill check in a sec i would want atleast 200 amp. these units are direct bolt in/plug and play/

Your vehicle comes with a 120 amp unit that actually has pretty good output at idle. We offer a 270 amp unit for $499. Our unit does 165 amps at idle, at a somewhat higher voltage set point. It would make a HUGE difference in performance over what you have now.
