Sphinxbccp's Never Ending Blazer Build

Recommended Posts

Ah yes, Michigan. I didn't think about that. I see so many videos on Youtube and they're like I'm not going to change the hubs out they're practically brand new, when really they look like they went down with the titanic and they just threw them on after the discovery! It'd drive me crazy!

But I get it. Ok keep pluggin away buddy! Looks good!

Not much of an update, had some issues with the brakes (air got in the ABS) and issues with the rear calipers hitting the frame (temporarily fixed it but will most likely have to tear the rear end apart again) but I got it at least drivable again, it just needs an alignment and the brake system professionally bleed. I think I'll start back on the system here soon now that it's getting cooler out again and worry about the rest when I get it on the road again.

Welp, I've haven't been working on this much lately. Even been playing with the idea of selling it, only issue is I'd have to sell as is with all the equipment not installed. Anyone wanna buy it??

Well got some work done on it today, finally got new tie rods since the stock ones were rusted and seized up.

And put the rims on to see how it'll look with the "new" drop, still a good amount of work left before it'll see the road again but it's getting closer!

Been a loooonnnggg time, thought about selling the Blazer but after much thought and research... It wouldn't even be worth selling, so I'm back to working on it. Hopefully have a couple updates here soon.

Well, the plan to get the Blazer build going again will be in a few stages.

1. Finish interior (finish small projects/get front stage wired and working/put everything back together)

2. Get drivable (minor suspension adjustments/fix brakes)

3. Finish wall and wire everything up

4. Back to bumpin!!!

My only issue is I'm leaving (deploying) again in the near future, I hope to get as much done before I go as possible so when I get back it wont take much to finish it.
