hdorre
what 2000w amp... Yeah, it may not be a "true" 2000 watts or may be peak power Quote On 5/8/2011 at 7:38 PM, Kranny said: On 5/8/2011 at 7:35 PM, 'Maxim' said: It hurts me inside when I read stuff like this and remember you're 15 LMFAO so true Mitsubishi 3000GT (Old Build) Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: (2) McLaren Audio MLT-2 Tweeters & (4) PRV Audio MR Series Neo 6.5" Mids Substage: 4 15" Hybrid Subs - Tantric Motors & Sundown Softies Amps: Banda 2.4D Amp (Tweets), American Bass VFL 350.4 (Mids), and (2) Ampere 3800s Electrical :Singer 260A Alt & JY Power Lithium 2005 Chevy Colorado Ext Cab Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: 4 PRV 700Ti Tweets & 6 10" Delta Mids on 3000wrms Substage: 6 Fi BTL 18s in a 4th Order Walkthrough on 3 Wolfram 4500s Electrical: Singer "390" and JY Power My Official Feedback Thread

Kranny
Quantum audio 2000w 1000rms bridged between 2 15"'s 1000rms and you want a new alt? hahaha i had my old hifonics bx1605d AND my rockford fosgate 200a4 (probably a good what, like 1700w draw?) on a stock 70 amp alt with the big 3 and stock battery and it was fine. hdorre
Dont feel like doing the big 3 too much work Don't even bother upgrading the alt then. How much current do you think 8 gauge wire can support? How many amperes? Edit: that little 8 gauge certainly can't have 150+ amps flowing through it from a HO alt Edited November 5, 2010 by hdorre Quote On 5/8/2011 at 7:38 PM, Kranny said: On 5/8/2011 at 7:35 PM, 'Maxim' said: It hurts me inside when I read stuff like this and remember you're 15 LMFAO so true Mitsubishi 3000GT (Old Build) Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: (2) McLaren Audio MLT-2 Tweeters & (4) PRV Audio MR Series Neo 6.5" Mids Substage: 4 15" Hybrid Subs - Tantric Motors & Sundown Softies Amps: Banda 2.4D Amp (Tweets), American Bass VFL 350.4 (Mids), and (2) Ampere 3800s Electrical :Singer 260A Alt & JY Power Lithium 2005 Chevy Colorado Ext Cab Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: 4 PRV 700Ti Tweets & 6 10" Delta Mids on 3000wrms Substage: 6 Fi BTL 18s in a 4th Order Walkthrough on 3 Wolfram 4500s Electrical: Singer "390" and JY Power My Official Feedback Thread

MECHMAN
We have a killer 150 amp large case conversion unit for $249. It will give you way more output throughout the RPM range, almost full output at idle. We can make up a pre-fabbed zero gauge cable for positive and negative to run directly from the alternator to the battery so you don't have to worry about doing the big 3. We professionally crimp and heat shrink seal the ends of the cables so all you have to do it bolt them on the alternator and the battery. The pure copper zero gauge positive and ground kit is $50.
