MECHMAN Posted November 15, 2010 Report Share Posted November 15, 2010 It means is has a fan cooled remote mounted rectifier, so that all of the heat is mounted away from the windings of the alternator. That is the only way to make that particular OEM housing durable at 320 amps worth of output.
