(4) 12"DC Audio Lvl 4 Which Amp

Recommended Posts

1 2200. Absolutely. Voltage probably wouldnt budge. But two. Or one 3500. You'll definately have a huge voltage drop. Since all your power would be coming from the batteries very quickly.

Read the specs people. The AQ3500 is rated 4300rms@1ohm and are definately under rated. If your voltage stays up they'll easily do 5k. There a few members here who have proven that

damn guess i should of read ll was thinkin they did 3500 or a lil more but id rather have more power than less lol team mate was running 3 of the 3500.1s on 3 BTL 18s and he loved them amps. thats some good power for the price for sheezy

My old setup was 4 12" Rockford Fosgate T1 subs and 2 RF 1500-1BD amps @ 1 ohm and it handled that with no problems.

All depends on install. Could you install a 3500 and get by with what you have? Yeah. Likely you wouldn't be getting anywhere near rms of the amp. Minimum. Get another battery and give it a shot. But leave budget for another battery to be safe.

The guy Loudnlow on here is running a 3500 and has a "similar" electrical. Pm him and ask what he's running. Ok not sure on alt but between 160-260 iraggi, and two batts in the back. Not sure what ones. And I think one run of 0g + and - front to back. His works but he also has had problems off and on. Never dedicated the problem being electrical but it's what I think it is.

I think its gonna do fine. It draws less current than the 2 1500-1bd. Anyone else have an opinion on my question?

What do you guys suggest I do to power these bad boys? (2) AQ2200 OR AQ3500 or does anyone suggest a different amp that will power these and work with my setup.
