Is this good rule of thumb

Recommended Posts

was wondering if it is a good rule of thumb to have as many amp hours in batteries as you have in amps of current in system or is it not neccesary. I already have a DC Power 270xp alt and two shuriken bt-120 batteries and my volatage at idle stays about 12v
