CJ18
I don't know where you get your aluminum from but 48" of 1 inch by 2 inch costs nowhere near 175. That isnt the cost of the Aluminum that is the cost of the buss bars built and shipped. There is quite a bit of work that goes into making 2 48" buss bars with 20+ inputs on each. CJ18
There is nothing wrong with stacking ring terminals on the battery terminals. Buss bars just allow for a cleaner look and can be done so that you dont need ring terminals. These are the Buss Bars i built for my 6 XS 3400s Battery terminals I built to go under the hood to clean up the 10 wires I have on each battery post. Nathan @ XSpower
the reason i bring this up is that my dad and i were talking about the system in my car and he was saying that because my ring terminals are stacked on the battery that i was limiting my system, basically that it was a weakpoint. heres how my terminals look currently: front batt: rear batt: I see the weak point in your system, but it isn't with your ring terminals.............lol sorry just had to. Autruche
rofl, good one Nathan. A buss bar would be something you would really want to use when you are running a battery bank in the back. Using bars will allow smoother stronger current flow between your batteries in comparison to wires between the batteries. What you have going on with your wires won't make a difference. If you care how it looks, some of those fancy looking distribution terminals CJ18 makes would dress it up nicely. Need Test Tones/Sine Waves?
