Hugh G. Rection
thats another problem i was worried about the only settings the amp has is a bass boos from 0db to i think 10 then hpf lpf and full thats just a switch so that wont be hard then frequency that ill be turned all the way down so the only knob that will even be moved is the input level it would still be beneficial to match the amp correctly. even if the adjustments are bottomed out, the different channels of the amp may still not be matched. MACnonsence6
i have a multi meter i just need to find it that way i can get things right what exactly causes cancelation ? Quote I picked up an MTX Sw1212 powered subwoofer today. This thing sounds amazing. 130 watts, 12" woofer with a passive 12" woofer tuned to 27 hz. Moving the pictures on the walls and my girl got wet from the bass when i showed her haha. Tonight should be good haha.
Boon
Series the coils for 8 ohms/sub then run a bridged pair of channels to each sub... Quote 10.x volts fo' life!
dugee81
Series the coils for 8 ohms/sub then run a bridged pair of channels to each sub... This makes the most sense to me. VC1 on the L channel and VC2 on the right channel sounds like it could get (or sound) ugly. MACnonsence6
i had this amp in my car before having 2 chanells run each coil of the sub and the other 2 running my 6x9s so i dont think things would get to ugly if i get that im just wondering what the power output rms wise would be if i ran them that way each coil to each of the 4 chanells compared to bridged to to each sub at 8 ohms Quote I picked up an MTX Sw1212 powered subwoofer today.
