Ric Thornton
Considering you can get an accurate pocket o-scope on ebay for under $100, I would be willing to pay $50-$65 for this unitasker. first of all where is a "pocket o-scope" for under $100? link please. second, this isnt just for clipping, it sniffs out distortion that most cheaper Oscopes cannot detect. That being said, i am positive the price will be less then $100, but we dont know for sure yet exactly what it will be. just let me know when I can order one sir. onebadmonte
Looks like things slowed down a bit. So how about a little teaser of how this is going to make setting the gains up easier? Is the amount of distortion this thing "hears" adjustable? How is this going to work if my full range amp is rated st .05% THD at 4 ohms and my sub amp is rated at 1.5% THD at 2 ohms? Thanks. Torres
Hey Steve, I was thinking....just an opinion of course(not sure if u already thought about his yet) but maybe also add in a Test CD of sine ways. I know u can buy a CD like this of mobile solution website. its like 16 bucks which isn't a big deal but would be nice if u included that already for some folks OR some accessories for the test leads to make it easy to clap on to RCAs and other terminals I as a Customer/Installer would make me alot happier if i could use this right out of the box with some test leads to clap on and not have to worry about holding the leads while i work on a vehicle alone. Thats all i have to say. Hope i can purchase this soon, Maybe u can do that video update soon also. Thanks J. i'd rather download or make the files for free and have a cheaper price over having it come with a cd. *click...click click* there, you're done. saved me some dollars but then you have another issue, if you output it through a mp3 player, you could have clipping going on in the internal amp of that, or you could burn it incorrectly so that it is not a true 0db track anymore, if he included a disk, which costs a whole 5 cents (No joke) then it would be spot on for everyone true true. i tend to tune my amps to whatever i listen to the most. i tuned with a cd player once, played with an ipod and broke some stuff not due to any specific song either. so i tune with whatever my primary listening source is
