I have a 1997 Ford Mustang GT (4.6L v8) Looking for approximately a 200 amp alt, that does atleast 100 at idle. Going to running around 3000-4000 watts total, and will have batteries will additional support.

Thanks for your time.

I'd hit that so fucking hard whoever pulled me out would be King of England.

Lol... looks like we were on the same page. Car-B-Ques suck.

ya, tires and paint burning make the marshmallows taste funny.

No problem-

We have a 200 amp OEM housing unit that does 100 amps at idle, full output by 1800 RPM, and comes standard with our custom solid copper rectifier for total durability. It is on sale for $299 (Reg. $399)

We also offer our 270 amp direct bolt in large case conversion kit for $449. It does 165 amps at idle, with total durability.

You can add the adjustable voltage boost module to either of the units above for only $50 additional.

Would the 200 amp model suffice with proper battery backup or would you recommend getting the large case?
