IH8PunkRok
forgive my poorly drawn design. im in class and hurrying tline on the left traditional on the right my question is, will the tweeter being between the mids (also the distance of the line difference) mess with the effectiveness of the transmission line? would that setup (woofer, tweet, woofer) be better in a standard ported box? is there a different way to build a t-line to counter that differing plane issue? -Matt2005 Dodge Magnum RTJVC KD-AVX1 2 PPI S580.2 Obsidian Audio ST1 Horn Tweeters PRV 8MB450s Audio Legion 3500.1D 2 RE MT 18s 360 ah LiFePO4 BatterySHCA 2/0 155.2 @ 29 hzKicker CVR 15's buildDD 3512e buildMini T-Line Build(6) 8s BuildNightshade 15s Wall BuildMagnum AB XFL 12s BuildNewest Magnum Build

NcHalfrican
I'd place the tweeter at the top, away from the woofers.
Superjay
the tweeters between the woofers will create a MUCH better sound field. The way the reflections of sound will work you won't be able to identify where the speakers are. I like the t-line, but flip it...these are home speakers you want them at ear level. cvxsmitty58
i just designed a tline for my home setup, consists of a dayton 5 1/4 and a dayton dome tweeter. Its tuned to 55. If you want a copy of the design i can shoot one your way. I also designed the crossovers for it if you wanna see that too. LMK
MACnonsence6
i would love a copy of that as well as the crossovers. im wanting to build a smaller tower that will sound really good how do you like that one? I picked up an MTX Sw1212 powered subwoofer today. This thing sounds amazing. 130 watts, 12" woofer with a passive 12" woofer tuned to 27 hz. Moving the pictures on the walls and my girl got wet from the bass when i showed her haha. Tonight should be good haha.
bumpinTL364
hey this just helped me a lot (inadvertently) can you really have tweeters and mids in the same box as your woofers? sorry im sort of noobing out here but i want to build some speakers for my room and have essentially no idea how to get to where i want to go. also why is your tuning at 55hz? masterbation is free, and even saves you money.sorry but someone had to say itsorry, Jimmy...beat you to it (no pun intended) LOLDON'T get a wife. Best advice I never got, and now it's too late My build: 12" DCON in a dorm room. New/current build: 8" woofer, custom amplifier block, fiberglassed speaker pods
