Hugh G. Rection
i love how most of the people responding to this thread have probably never owned the solo-x, and are just spitting responses out of their ass. solo-x is a beast, and i know because i have had every size solo-x made. worked damn well for me. i have also owned every size L7 made. they are all good subs. DRauck
I have owned a SoloX 12 and now I have the SoloX 18, both on 2500ish watts. The 18 is surprisingly loud on only half power, and the 12 blew away multiple higher end dual 12 and dual 15 setups Quote 2011 Honda CR-Z Mugen 12" Kicker SoloX Subwoofer Rockford Fosgate t20001bd Pioneer AVIC-X930BT Head Unit Build Log
LT.Smoke
Yes if i had to choose between those 2 I would do the Solo-X because its a beastly woofer and easily repairable but for the price will spend on one of them you can find other brands that you could almost buy a pair of subs for that will be more affordable and get louder and last longer Quote Team MaxRetribution Si Vis Pacem Parabellum Id rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6 Bowhunting- Life Begins and Ends at Full Draw Bowhunting Team Fatal Trajectory Hunt Team http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/49335-sick96vtecaccords-t-line-build/?hl=sick96vtecaccord << Accord Build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/68498-smokedout08impalas-tline-build/?hl=+sick96vtecaccord << Impala T-line build Rebassed.com for all your music needs 👌
finkster
I loved my L7 when I had it. It's in my sister's car now. Going on 3 years and not a problem. Basshead08
Had two solo x 12's in my Ford ranger a few years back. Powered off of a memphis 4kw. Loud as hell and kept making the seal around my back window tear and leak. This was before I learned about all of the non mainstream brands. I would never pay what they are asking for those subs these days.
