LT.Smoke
The Raufoss round fires a traditionally copper jacketed projectile. The magic is what's inside the copper jacket. Between the Incendiary mix, Comp A4, Zirconium and tungsten carbide penetrator its a bad mother fucker. the Slap round on the other hand is a polymer sabot ( plastic carrier) with the same penetrator as the Raufoss except larger. make sense? The SLAP is designed to go super fast and punch through light armor while the Raufoss is designed to go normal speed till it hits it's target, the penetrator continues to travel at higher velocity punching through light armor and allowing the rest of the round to catch up and detonate inside. Gotcha... So in a sense they are some what similar but in the same breath they are 2 totally different monsters with different applications in mind and different weapons platforms that utilize them Quote Team MaxRetribution Si Vis Pacem Parabellum Id rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6 Bowhunting- Life Begins and Ends at Full Draw Bowhunting Team Fatal Trajectory Hunt Team http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/49335-sick96vtecaccords-t-line-build/?hl=sick96vtecaccord << Accord Build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/68498-smokedout08impalas-tline-build/?hl=+sick96vtecaccord << Impala T-line build Rebassed.com for all your music needs

ROLEXrifleman
Correct, they share a common trait (the tungsten penatrator) which in and of it self has a very specific task. Pierce armor. the SLAP is a one trick pony, all it does is pierce. The Raufoss is a three trick pony, pierces, explodes, creates fire Quote Rolex you sicken me.
